性别 & Sexuality Center Welcome Reception is held annually at the beginning of the fall semester, and is open to all students, 教职员工. The reception offers the opportunity to become familiar with the LGBTQIA programs and services available at OU, as well as meet 工作人员 from the Gender and Sexuality Center. The event also introduces the leadership of the LGBTQIA Employee Resource Group and the executive board of the Gender & 性联盟. Food and refreshments are provided for those in attendance. No registration is required.

This year's LGBTQ+ Welcome Reception will take place on September 7, 2023 from 3 PM - 6 PM in 159 and 104J North Foundation Hall.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

Centered around November 20^th 每年的, though the event date is flexible, Transgender Day of Remembrance honors the memory of those lives that were lost in acts of anti-变性人 violence. Though the event details change from year to year, previous years have included, 守夜, panel discussions and memorial displays. No registration is required.

TDOR 2023 will take place on Friday, November 17th.

Centered around December 1 每年的, though the event date is flexible, 世界艾滋病日 is intended to raise awareness of HIV, remember those who have died, and break down the stigma that still surround the disease. Event details vary from year to year, though previous years have included, display of the NAMES Memorial Quilt, guest speakers and filming screenings. Registration is not required.

2023年, a roaming history display will be available outside 104J NFH on and around Worlds AIDS Day on December 2, 2023.

骄傲月 is held every April and is open to all students, 教职员工. 骄傲月 is hosted to celebrate OU’s diversity in sexual orientation and gender identity with events that raise awareness, 促进教育, and foster a sense of community. It is our goal to make 骄傲月 a university-wide collaboration between campus partners to present 十大菠菜台子’s students, 工作人员, and faculty and the surrounding community with the opportunity to learn from and about the lesbian, 同性恋, 双性恋, 变性人, 双性, 酷儿, 质疑, and asexual (LGBTQIA) community. 活动包括:

• Lavender 毕业 Celebration (registration required)
• Gay-Straight Alliance's Annual Drag Show
• 骄傲的舞会
• 客座讲师
• 电影放映

OU 骄傲月 2024 will occur from March 11 - April 11, 2024.
