信息技术

The program in 信息技术 (IT) prepares students for a professional career in IT.

The program provides students with sufficient technical strength and a comprehensive understanding of information technology practice in context to act as problem solvers in various settings.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience and requires students to participate in industrial internships or industry-sponsored projects.

B.S. in 信息技术 program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of 教唆, http://www.教唆.org, under the General Criteria and the 信息技术 Program Criteria.

B.S. in 信息技术 is the validated Program of Study (PoS) by the National Security Agency (NSA).

信息技术 B.S., Specialization in System Administration is an optional specialization in System Administration to students interested in broadening their knowledge in this specific area of information technology and wishing the area of specialization in their degree.

Combined bachelor/master degree 项目 provide students an opportunity to complete a bachelor’s and master’s degree in less time than would be required if the two degrees were done independently. Students accepted for the B.S./M.S. Program must have a minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.2. Students may apply to the B.S./M.S. Program and be offered deferred admission to the graduate program during their junior year.
