In Public and Environmental Wellness, you will advocate for the health of the environment and people in their 社区 和工作场所 through engagement, service and foundational knowledge in epidemiology and sociology. We offer programs at the bachelor’s and master’s level, as well as several graduate certificates.

Transfer students can continue their Associate in 艺术与科学 degree with a Bachelor of Science in 应用健康科学.
The Bachelor of Science in Environmental 健康与安全 and Master of Science in Safety Management are 认证 by the American Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET).
The Master of 公共卫生 is 认证 by the Council on Education for 公共卫生 (CEPH).
Welcome to the Department of Public and Environmental Wellness. “Pursuing society’s big health challenges,” our programs focus on equipping students with the tools needed to lead the charge of health promotion among individuals, 社区, 和工作场所.
We take great pride in advocating for and advancing the health and safety of diverse 社区 through engagement and service. Our faculty members are dedicated to student success, using the best teaching and learning strategies to deliver a robust curriculum. 作为十大菠菜台子, faculty provide students access to new knowledge as well as opportunities to gain valuable research experience.
We are deeply connected to our local community and industry partners. These relationships enable students to immediately put into practice the theories and concepts they are learning in the classroom. Service learning projects, practicums and internships give students “real world” experience while also connecting them to local employers.
