During 十大菠菜台子‘s four-week faculty-led program, immerse in the culture and business communications of Hikone, 日本的第一手. Explore the intricacies of Japanese business while mastering communications techniques in a professional setting. See how organizations operating in traditional and modern spaces communicate in business in a fast-paced and changing environment. Visit prominent Japanese companies and organizations while communicating and exchanging ideas with Japanese business professionals.

课程: COM 3401: 日本的商务沟通 (3 credits) The course fulfills the School of 业务 communication requirement. 学生 who have already fulfilled the requirement can earn credit as IS 2200 Perspectives on Japan which meets General Education Global Perspectives requirements.

学生 fly independently to Tokyo and travel on the bullet train to Hikone, 封建城堡的故乡, and located on the eastern shore of the huge and beautiful Lake Biwa. In Hikone, students study at the Japan Center for Michigan Universities. Orientation and cultural visits cover a range of topics and introduce the group to the school, 日本语言和文化. 

By learning about Japanese business culture and new language skills, students gain a competitive edge in the global business world. 该项目提供 specialized Japanese language training tailored for business communication to learn key phrases, 表达式, and language etiquette necessary for effective interaction in professional settings.

学生 have the opportunity to collaborate with local Japanese students on group projects that promote cross-cultural teamwork and foster international friendships. 

学生 探索迷人的地标, 历史遗迹, and natural beauty of Japan during organized cultural excursions. Excursions include visits to ancient temples, participation in traditional tea ceremonies, and navigating the bustling streets of modern cities.

Following the program, students will fly back independently from Tokyo.

需求没有最低GPA要求. No prior knowledge of Japanese is necessary.

课程: 学生 take two different courses and earn six total credits.

          COM 3401: 日本的商务沟通 (3 credits) The course fulfills the School of 业务 communication requirement. 学生 who have already fulfilled the requirement can earn credit as IS 2200 Perspectives on Japan which meets General Education Global Perspectives requirements.

           IS 2200: Japanese Language and Culture (3 credits)

学生 who have previously taken one or both of these courses can receive alternate course designations and should speak with the program leader. 

学生 will attend class in-person with OU faculty for four weeks in Japan. 这门课程是用英语进行的.

学习商科的学生, 工程, finance and disciplines in the College of 艺术与科学 can benefit from the course.

The Japanese language training module is open to students of all levels, from beginner in the Japanese language to proficient.

学生 will have a chance to communicate and exchange ideas with Japanese business professionals while enhancing understanding of other cultures and cultural diversity.

住房和食物
